According to UNICEF, more than 150 million children in the world today live as orphans.
Every day, an estimated 5,700 more children become orphans. Children are often relinquished due to war, natural disaster, poverty, disease, stigma, and medical needs.
Adoption has the power to change a child’s life through a loving family, medical care, and education. Adoption is less about getting a child for a family and more about giving a family for a child.
